Start prepping your skin a few days out. Gentle exfoliation two to three times in the week before loosens dead skin so the wax grabs the hair, not the skin. Don’t shave. Please don’t. We need about a quarter inch of growth for a good pull. Moisturize daily, but skip lotion the day of your appointment. If you’re on retinol or acne meds, tell me.
